Bonjour,
je me suis annoncé pour 29,95 Alice ADSL et ai décidé moi pour paiement avec VISA. Que sont donc maintenant les prochaines étapes ? Je voulais aller à mon compte, mais mes émaux et le mot de passe je ne viens pas. Je ne peux lire que mes mails, à d'ailleurs rien. Et comment court-il maintenant cela avec le téléphone ? Lors de l'annonce, je ne pouvais pas marquer si je veux m'en tenir à FT ou vais complètement à Alice. Ne dois-j' attendre maintenant que le modem ou dois-je faire encore quelque chose, afin que mon téléphone change à Alice ? Malheureusement, je comme un Allemand dois apprendre français correctement et demande donc autour des excuses pour des erreurs.

Gut, ich schreibe dann in Deutsch und Englisch, ist einfacher für mich. Französisch bin ich noch am lernen und leicht ist es nicht gerade.
Also, ich habe mich jetzt angemeldet bei Alice, weiss aber nicht die weiteren Schritte. Ich habe als Zahlungsmittel Visa genommen, damit ich keinen RIB hinschicken muss. Muss ich jetzt noch etwas machen wegen dem Telefonanschluss oder einfach nur abwarten, bis die Alicebox kommt?
Und wie klappt das mit dem Telefon umstellen von FT auf Alice? Geht das problemlos? Ich komme auch nicht zu dem Bereich Mon Compte. Wenn ich dort meine email eingebe und mein Passwort, kann ich nur meine emails abrufen, aber mehr nicht, ich kann nicht in den persönlichen Bereich. Wie komme ich dorthin?

As i am still learning frensh, i hope i can also write in english, so as people can help me better and understand me. I have opened an abo alicebox and want to know what to do else. Have i to do anything more or just wait until the box will arrive. I decided to pay by Visa, as i did not want to sent a RIB. So, how about the change for phone from FT to Alice? Is it horrible or easy? And why did i get a new phone number when i passed the subscription as i wanted to keep the old one from FT? Will Alice now change the phone automaticly or have i to go to FT to change?
And why can i not reach "Mon Compte"? When i give my email and the password, i can only read my mails but not reach the other pages, so why? How can i get this? Big Thx for help

Ok Kugelfisch, with your explanations it’s more clear and I will try to help you. My English is better than my german, sorry !

As you took the abo to Alicebox with your credit card, Alice has definitely taken into account your demand, because you can access your emails so you are now Alice customer. If you can’t access everything in “Mon compte” (as bandwith, connection, etc) , maybe means that Alice didn’t send your modem box yet (they have many new customers and are a bit late to deliver everybody). My opinion is that you have to wait a few more days to access your account management (this happened to a friend of mine, he needed about 2 weeks to get everything clear with “Mon compte”).

Concerning your phone number, did you ask for “total dégroupage” ? This means you don’t want to pay the FT phone line any more and asked Alice to provide you the landline too. Anyway, even if you didn’t ask “total dégroupage”, Alice manages this, and you have nothing more to do. They will soon send you a paper with your login and password to access internet, and your new Alice phone number, which will allow you to have the FT number for landline and Alice number for VOIP phone. Both work with Alicebox.

So, when i passed the abo to alicebox, there was no possibility to mark the option "total Dégroupage". So, i don't know, which abo i have now. Do you know where you can choose what abo you want?
And what is your meaning to Alice, is it easy to change phone from FT or not? Because for work i must always have my phone and as i could read, there were some people having no access to phone with alice and FT has already canceled the account. So, what do you think about that?

And then i will wait some days or weeks now and hope that the alicebox will arrive soon and i can use it directly...

When I took out my subscription (to Tiscali), they had told me to wait for the "dégroupage total". I had to ask for it when I would have receive my modem. Don't worry, you will be asked to return a form refering your decision or not to keep your phone number FT ("portabilié du numéro"). They also want a copy of your last FT's bill.
So once you have your modem (there will be your password and user name into, and a "clé de sécurité" which allows the use of the modem), phone them (good luck!! ) and ask for the "dégroupage total".
They will send you the form ("mandat de dégroupage") in "mon compte". You need to print it.

Personnally, I had to wait 2 months after sending the form for being removed of FT!!

I hope I was clear (it's been a while since I had written in english, and I don't know german ) and that there are not a lot of mistakes!

Does anybody know how long it will take at the moment until they send the alicebox? To phone them is nearly impossible, no free ligne. I hope it does not take more than 4 weeks....

Personnally, it was not long, more or less 2 weeks.

The real problem is to phone them! It's quite impossible...

But after you ask them, you need the time to return the form with the copy of your last FT's bill, they have to wait 7 days after receiving it. They send the "mandat" to FT after these 7 days; and after it depends on FT: the less is 2 weeks and the more is 8 weeks!

So, when i understand you correctly, it takes about two weeks to get the alicebox and the letter with the login data.

Then i will phone them to get the form "dégroupage total" and return it and then it takes some weeks to switch from FT to Alice. That is ok now.

But in the time when they have sent the "mandat for dégroupage total" to FT, what about your phone? Is there no more free line because FT directly cancels your access and you have to wait until it is opened by Alice or is there only a switch from one second to another and you can go on phoning without problems?

When FT cancels you access, Alice takes the line. Your line is cut for 20 min minimum or for a week maximum. The more often it's cut for 24 hours. Once they have switch your line, you will need to reconfigurate your modem with the same user name, password and "clé de sécurité", but with your number FT instead of the Alice's one.
You will understand when you're going to configurate the modem for the first time, you have to put the Alice number.
Once the dégroupage is OK, the Alice number will not run anymore, it's for that that you need to reconfigurate it with FT number.

Personnally, I couldn't phone for 24 hours.


I think of something... You said that when you had suscribed, there wasn't the form for the dégroupage total. Are you sure that you are in a area which can be "dégroupé"?

Uups... I took a look now at the card of dégroupage and my town Forbach is not listet in these areas, it is listet as "Zone non dégroupée". So, it seems, that i can not take the offer Alice. When i tried my phone number and postal code, i was told that it is ok with 10MBit per second. So, i did not look for anything else and passed the subsription.

So, now i do not know, what is fact. May be when you enter your phone number and postal code, they only check if your line is ready for adsl but not if it is also ready for alice with the "Zone dégroupée".

And i don't understand what it meens with "Zone non dégroupée". can you take the offer and get the alicebox, but only for adsl and not for phone or does it meen you can not take this offer at all?

If i can't use that i will have to go to Wanadoo, what i really want to avoid....

In "zone dégroupée" you can have the ADSL and the "téléphonie" (you can phone with Alice without paying on phone call for "numéros fixes" in France) but you still have to pay your subscription to FT (it's about 13 euros per month).

I had tried with the phone number of my neighbour, it appears in the form:
débit 10 à 15 mega
dégroupage total

So they say that you can have the dégroupage total. If there wasn't it's because it's impossible.
